As part of their preparation for the sale of their residential property in Issaquah, the owners of this large corner lot wanted to conduct a feasibility study highlighting alternative development opportunities.
The property is currently occupied as a residence, but is zoned for Multi-Family Medium Density, which also allows for professional office uses. Many similar properties in the neighborhood have converted from residential to business use, capitalizing on high visibility and proximity to the historic downtown and transit services. This preliminary plan proposes a phased development plan to adapt and reuse the historic residence as a professional office, and incorporate a 600 sf addition. The site planning allows for the structure and parking to remain if preliminary plans for a future round-about affect property lines.
